The Albert Schweitzer Leadership for Life Programme

Foroige (Youth Development Organisation) in partnership with the Ireland Chamber United States, is developing and implementing an international youth leadership initiative, called the ASLFL programme.  A conference is organised for Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August

The conferecne takes place this week in Dublin and Co-operation Ireland has organised some 50 young people (15 - 18) from Northern Ireland to take part.  .

It takes it's name from one of the world's greatest humanitarians and 1952 Nobel Peace Proze recipient Albert Schweitzer.

During the conference young people will take part in activities that will develop skills in communication, problem solving, group working, critical analysis, personal development, and much more.  They will meet inspirational professionals from a wide variety of fields.  They will have a fun filleld week packed with activities, trips and entertainment.  They will also meet energetic and exciting people and build new friednships.

This Blog will be following the conference and will include updates on what the young people are up to and comments from the particpants.
